9.05 cm-long fluted FGV point from Whidbey Island - the source is Watts Point.

WASHINGTON FINE-GRAINED VOLCANIC (FGV) TOOLSTONE SOURCE CATALOG

We didn't originally intend to even get started on FGV studies in Washington but were drawn in when geochemical studies of artifacts and source material from southern British Columbia, the San Juan Islands, and the Olympic Peninsula all turned up a common source, Watts Point. Ongoing research on this geographically-widespread FGV source and and its prehistoric use by Kim Kwarsick (Washington State University) and Amanda Taylor (University of Washington) should clear up much of the current ambiguity about this topic.
