JAMES CREEK SHELTER, THREE SISTERS WILDERNESS, HIGH CASCADES, OREGON

Above: The historic three-sided James Creek Shelter lies at the edge of a meadow along the old Skyline Trail in the Three Sisters
Wilderness Area of Oregon (the modern Pacific Crest Trail was routed not far to the east). The shelter apparently dates to the 1930's
and was reportedly built by CCC crews.
