Since the opening of the obsidian laboratory in 1992, we have completed well over 1,500 individual projects originating from the United States (Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Italy, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Washington, and Wyoming), Canada (Alberta, British Columbia, Quebec, and Saskatchewan), the Pacific Islands (Easter Island, Guam), Mexico, and Italy. Over 1,100 of these projects have resulted in standalone written reports (produced by BioSystems Analysis until early 1996 and by Northwest Research Obsidian Studies Laboratory from mid-1996 until the present time).
